Since 1980, Carlile Transportation has provided complete supply chain solutions to support Alaska’s retail, mining, oil and gas, construction, and commercial fishing industries. Carlile also provides shipping logistics and solutions for Alaska consumers.
Carlile’s key trucking and logistics services include heavy haul, LTL & FTL, reefer, hazmat and hazardous waste, government and DOD services, and local OTR shipping solutions. This can be local intra-state freight or moving from the Lower 48 states. Carlile Transportation is a leading full-service shipping logistics expert offering multimodal solutions that include air, ground, ocean, and rail options.
Founded in 1980 by brothers John and Harry McDonald, Carlile has grown from two tractors to one of Alaska’s largest trucking companies. Carlile is dedicated to meeting the unique trucking & logistics needs of Alaska.
Today, Carlile’s wholly-owned terminals serve Alaska from Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, Kodiak, Prudhoe Bay, and Tacoma, WA, Houston, TX, and Edmonton, AB.
