Engaging Our Employees
Carlile is proud to have launched an immensely important initiative that extends beyond our company’s walls and has the potential to make a significant impact on our society. This program, titled “Carlile United Against Human Trafficking,” is dedicated to combating human trafficking, specifically child trafficking.
Human trafficking is a global issue that affects millions of lives, and as a socially responsible organization, we believe it is our duty to take a stand and contribute to the fight against this injustice. This initiative is not just about our company; it is about joining a larger movement to bring awareness, provide support, and ultimately help end human trafficking.
Here’s how “Carlile United Against Human Trafficking” is taking action across our terminals:
1. Awareness and Education: We have conducted training sessions and workshops to educate our employees about the signs of human trafficking and how to report suspicious activities. Knowledge is a powerful tool in preventing trafficking and assisting victims.
2. Partnerships with Organizations: We are partnering with leading anti-trafficking organizations to support their efforts and amplify their reach. These collaborations will provide us with the resources and expertise needed to make a real difference.
3. Victim Support Programs: Our initiative includes support programs for trafficking survivors, such as job training, employment opportunities, and access to essential services. We aim to provide a path to recovery and independence for those affected.
4. Community Engagement: Engaging with our local communities is crucial. Our employees offer their time and skills to support our partner organizations and community events.
5. Employee Involvement:
By working together, we can create a safer, more just world. “United Against Human Trafficking” is more than just a company program; it is a commitment to humanity and a stand against a grave injustice.

Truckers are uniquely positioned to report human trafficking because they frequently travel through areas where traffickers operate, like truck stops, rest areas, and interstate highways, giving them a high chance of encountering potential victims and recognizing suspicious activity due to their extensive time on the road and exposure to diverse locations; essentially acting as “eyes and ears” on the highway.
As the President of Carlile, I am proud to support our employee-led movement and commitment to combating human trafficking through targeted training and awareness initiatives known as “Carlile United against Human Trafficking”.
This insidious crime affects an estimated 24.9 million individuals globally, with many victims hidden in plain sight throughout our nation. Truck drivers play a crucial role in identifying potential victims, and we are partnering with organizations like Truckers Against Trafficking, Veterans For Child Rescue, The Remnant Ministry TX and others to equip our employees with the knowledge and resources necessary to make a real impact. By taking a stand against this critical issue, we aim not only to protect vulnerable individuals but also to foster safer, stronger communities.
Together, we can shine a light on this dark reality and demonstrate our unwavering dedication to social responsibility within the trucking and logistics industry.
